The East Mallorca Girls Cup 2023 kicks off with the Mallorcan Cata Coll as patron of honour

From October 12 to 15 the prestigious international grassroots soccer tournament East Mallorca Girls Cup 2023, which will be held at the municipal soccer fields of Cala Millor, Son Servera, Artà and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.

Almost a thousand players, distributed in 48 teams from different countries, will participate in the great international concentration of female soccer players in ages U-12, U-14 and U-16, which will be played in the area of Cala Millor, in what is probably the best women’s grassroots soccer tournament in Europe.

The Mallorcan recently proclaimed World Champion with the Spanish National Team, Cata Coll, will be the honorary patron of the international tournament. Among the clubs that will take part in this tournament are Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, PSG, Athletic Club de Bilbao, Atlético de Madrid or Bayern Munich, along with a good representation of teams from Northern Europe. Among the registered teams is an Australian team for the first time. The Balearic Islands will be represented by La Salle de Palma, Artà and Escolar de Capdepera.

The first games of the tournament will start on Thursday 12 o’clock and, once the finalist teams of the groups of each category are known, the finals will be played on Sunday 15 o’clock in the afternoon.

The East Mallorca Girls Cup 2023 is an initiative of the Tourism Consortium of Son Servera and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, which includes the Hotel Association of Cala Millor and Sa Coma, together with the municipalities of Sant Llorenç and Son Servera.
