The Consorci de Turisme de Son Servera i Sant Llorenç des Cardassar organises the II Fira de l’Ocupació (2nd Employment Fair)

On Wednesday, 28th February, the Auditori de Sa Màniga will be the venue chosen to hold the II Fira de l’Ocupació de Cala Millor, following the success of last year’s event, which was well received and attended by around thirty companies and candidates, who have shown their interest in taking part in future editions.

The aim of this fair is to establish synergies between the population in search of employment and companies in the area that need to fill a wide variety of jobs, from basic service workers to specialized personnel in finance, among others. During the event, candidates will interact with companies, present their CVs and discuss their skills and experience. Companies will conduct one-on-one interviews and collect CVs for current or future vacancies.

During the day, which will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., workshops will be held for job seekers who will learn useful tools and techniques to succeed in their job interviews. On the other hand, the round table “Optimising talent: challenges and strategies in the selection and retention of qualified personnel” will be held, where the current difficulties posed by the market will be addressed, as well as existing strategies for improvement. The debate will be attended by professionals from human resources and operations in the hotel sector, together with a specialist in issues related to people management. At its conclusion, the doors of the venue will be opened for job interviews to begin.

As a novelty, in this second edition there will be a foodtruck service offering different snack and lunch options.
